Pre School- Shape match and place
In this hands-on activity, students were given a variety of real-life objects (e.g., coins, scale, bangles, bread, pizza slice cut-out) and on a table different basic shapes such as a circle, square, triangle, and rectangle were painted. The students were asked to observe the objects and place each one on the shape it most closely resembles. For example, a coin would go on the circle, and a scale will go on the rectangle. This activity helps reinforce shape recognition and encourages students to connect geometric concepts with everyday items.
