Math Munchkins

 All days have specific semblance to the pattern of life we lead.  When it is Rakshabandhan, it is the bond of love , care and protection that brothers and sisters promise to each other.  How about living it in another way as well! The students of Cambridge segment of the school tied a thread to the Tree Trunk today strengthening their bond with nature. Little enthusiastic children along with the teachers of the class tied threads to the tree trunks in groups. They hugged the tree and said' You can trust us, we would care for you and look after you'. Children enjoyed the activity and understood the relevance of it.

Today students did Toe touch stretching exercise.

  In this ten frame activity, students rolled a dice and practiced recognising the number shown. After identifying the number, they used a ten frame to represent it by placing counters in the correct number of box. For example, if a student rolled a 5, they filled five boxes on the ten frame.
